Finlands Svenska Scouter (FiSSc) is the Swedish-speaking Scout organization in Finland. In July 2026, it organized Glänta 2026, a Finnish scout jamboree that brought together thousands of participants for outdoor activities, skills training, and adventure.
The Challenge
Before Glänta 2026, the organizers had previously depended on traditional analog radios for camp coordination and communication. These radios were unreliable and often produced poor audio quality, making it difficult for the team to communicate effectively across the camp. They also needed to create a mobile phone-free experience for participants while encouraging leaders to use their phones only when necessary for their roles.
Solution – MCPTT-1-XC For Instant Team Communications
To tackle these limitations, the Tramigo MCPTT-1-XC was deployed for Glänta 2026. The solution enabled camp leaders and teams to communicate instantly across the camp without relying on phone calls or messaging apps.
To support effective communication across the camp, the MCPTT-1-XC provided:

Following the deployment of MCPTT-1-XC, Finland’s Svenska Scouter (FiSSc) improved communication and coordination throughout Glänta 2026 while supporting its goal of creating a mobile phone-free experience for participants.
