Fuel management solutions developed in the emerging markets are now available for fleet managers worldwide
It is our experience that nearly 100% of our fleet management customers in Africa experience fuel theft. This is an unfortunate reality whether you are an NGO or a fleet owner across any number of industries. We estimate that on average, theft is between 10 – 30 liters, per trip for a tank of 400 liters.
Tramigo fuel management solutions provide organizations with the control and transparency needed to stop fuel theft in its different forms completely. Additionally, Tramigo provides the data and tools for even further savings by identifying and reducing practices and behaviors which result in unnecessarily high fuel consumption.
All this means direct and immediate savings resulting in improvements on your organization’s bottom line.
Accurate data and reports, easy to use software and regional support
Tramigo added Fuel Management to its solutions already back in 2014 as options available in the fleet management solutions. To properly serve the market and better support its customers in the region, Tramigo set up the Tramigo Fuel Management training centers, 2020 in Rwanda, and then in Kenya and Ghana.
Tramigo’s promise is that by installing the Tramigo Fuel Management solution and using them as instructed, customers are able to prevent fuel theft completely and when necessary end employment of the untrustworthy staff who are responsible for it.
Tramigo also supports customer if and when they would like to do deep analysis of their fuel consumption patterns in order to discover opportunities for savings in overall fuel expenditures.
Tramigo’s strength is the 99% accuracy. A fuel probe is properly installed in the fuel tank and connected to the GPS tracking device, the reporting goes directly into the Tramigo tracking platform. Fuel theft alarms and other triggers are then configured this allows fleet owners and managers the ability to monitor all fuel consumption remotely and be automatically notified when possible theft is taking place. This suits the companies that are looking to close control all operations and manage all costs carefully. They will now be able to see where and when fuel is being consumed and by how much. This level of transparency and accuracy is needed for an average fleet manager to be able to reliably detect fuel theft.
All hardware is installed either by Tramigo staff, or Tramigo trains the client on prober installation based on how the delivery of the solution has been agreed. While the software is easy to manage and operate, Tramigo trains clients on the operation of the solution. At the Tramigo Fuel Management training centers technical support teams specialize in providing support and handling all technical questions from Tramigo customers.
